This exciting itinerary has been designed for photographic enthusiasts who will immerse themselves in a 13 night safari to some of Southern Africa’s most sort after wildlife photographic locations. This safari is hosted by Lex Hes whose experience and wildlife photography are well renowned. The safari is limited to 4 guests, which allows for intimate tuition and ample space on Game Drives and in some of Africa’s most well-known photographic hides and game viewing areas.
6 September 2021
Arrive in Johannesburg and overnight in the Intercontinental Hotel OR Tambo including welcome dinner and introduction to the safari.
7 September 2021
Charter flight from OR Tambo to Zimanga Game Reserve in Northern Zululand and settle in for a 4 night stay with game drives and visits to underground hides positioned perfectly at ground level at productive waterholes.
11 September 2021
Board a charter flight to the Sabi Sands Game Reserve where you will check in for a 4 night stay at Djuma Game Reserve. The Sabi Sands is renowned for its high densities of large African carnivores and the photographic opportunities are endless.
19 September 2021
A charter flight from the Sabi Sands will take you to Mashatu Game Reserve in the South Eastern Corner of Botswana. Here you will spend 4 nights in an area known as “the land of giants”. The baobab-studded landscape on the banks of the Limpopo River is not only home to large numbers of Elephants, but also one of the best places in Africa to photograph predators too. Here you will spend time on game drives and visits to photographic hides at ground level for an unforgettable finale to your safari.
